Google DeepMind's Gemini Robotics is reportedly set for a major 2.0 update. Previously in April, Google released Gemini Robotics-ER 1.6, significantly improving spatial reasoning, multi-view understanding, task planning, and success detection, while enhancing collaboration with Boston Dynamics' Spot.
DeepMind has now established strategic partnerships with companies like Apptronik, Boston Dynamics, and Agile Robots, with over 60 robotics companies participating as Trusted Testers. The teaser video hints at upgraded capabilities for dual-arm humanoids.
