Grok Outpaces Claude Opus 5 in App Coding Speed Test

A user tested AI models for building apps during family time, finding that Grok significantly outperformed Claude Opus 5 in speed. By the time Opus 5 finished one app, Grok had already completed three.
The author noted they had to dial Opus 5 down to medium mode because the high setting was too slow and kept running out of tokens.
