A new humanoid robot cleaning service has launched in San Francisco, priced at $30/hour, with one of the robots notably named "Elon."
Despite fluid movements, the robot is actually purely remote-controlled by humans wearing VR headsets. This setup appears to be a clever way to get paying customers to fund the collection of valuable real-world training data for robotics.
