ByteDance Merges Lark and Doubao Teams Amid Tencent Competition

ByteDance announced an internal reorganization merging its Lark (Feishu) product team with the Doubao team.
The newly formed Doubao product team will be led by Doubao's current head, Zhao Qi, with Lark's head, Xie Xin, now reporting to him. Analysts suggest this restructuring aims to refine Lark's strategic positioning in response to intense competition from Tencent's similar workplace offerings.
