DeltaIntelligence Raises Nearly 500M RMB in Six Months for Humanoid Foundation Models

DeltaIntelligence, a startup focusing on humanoid foundation models, recently secured nearly 500 million RMB in an Angel++ round. Founded in January 2026, this marks its sixth funding round within half a year, with backing from robot makers like Agibot and financial investors like Hillhouse.
The founding team consists of three UCLA PhDs with experience at Google and DeepMind. Their core mission is to develop Humanoid Foundation Models (HFMs) to enable complex loco-manipulation. Technically, the team built a native 3D world engine to process spatial data like point clouds and adopted a three-layer architecture (brain + cerebellum + hybrid force-position control) to coordinate high-degree-of-freedom movements.
To fuel model training, the company developed proprietary full-body data collection devices, combining first-person views with teleoperation. As the robotics industry shifts towards a division of labor between hardware manufacturing and foundational AI, DeltaIntelligence has already completed cross-embodiment adaptation with multiple robot manufacturers.
