Ilya Sutskever stated that the company building AGI should not be incentivized to make unlimited profits. His Safe Superintelligence (SSI) partnered with NVIDIA to scale compute 10x, with NVIDIA investing an estimated $5B (per Financial Times). SSI previously had a Google Cloud TPU arrangement and is valued at $32B post-money after its April 2025 funding round. SSI has released no product or research in two years but claims its research is now worth scaling.
