AI Agents Reshape Dev Paradigm: Self-Healing Data Pipelines
Afinetheorem · x · 2026-07-30
The author shares a new paradigm in software development: while the frontend design is fixed, there is essentially no traditional core code. The system draws from about 100 sources, which normally breaks when data formats change.
In this agent-based architecture, if an agent hasn't seen an update from a source for a few weeks, it automatically checks and corrects the instruction file to adapt to the new format. The author notes that this creates a new tradeoff between pure reproducibility and output quality for academic work.
