AI content detection company Pangram announced two new models: Pangram 4 and Pangram Image.
- Pangram 4: Re-engineered to handle mixed-authorship content by adding a tokenwise head onto the classifier, making token-level predictions based on full document context to solve the difficulty of detecting human-AI co-writing.
- Pangram Image: Expands detection capabilities to a completely new modality, covering AI-generated images and videos. Early tests show shockingly good accuracy even in strange edge cases.
Furthermore, the company released a 38-page technical report detailing their methodology and evaluations, which notably includes test results related to the Opus 5 model.
