Baseten Launches Model Labs Platform to Distribute and Monetize Closed-Weight Models

AI inference platform Baseten has announced Baseten for Model Labs, designed to help closed-weight model labs monetize and scale more efficiently.
The platform provides labs with a white-labeled API and distribution channel, allowing developers to access specialized models from their preferred inference environment without signing up for new accounts. Partners already include Poolside, Cartesia, Krea, and others.
