OpenAI to Grant 100,000 Academic Researchers Free Access to Frontier Models

OpenAI announced the launch of the "ChatGPT for Academic Researchers" program. The initiative will provide free access to OpenAI's frontier models to 100,000 researchers at selected academic institutions.
The program is designed to help researchers across the sciences, mathematics, and engineering tackle advanced problems, accelerate discovery, and improve productivity. Use cases range from preparing grant applications to testing scientific hypotheses.
