FCC adds advanced robots and foreign-made connected inverters to its Covered List

The FCC updated its Covered List to add two new device categories: “advanced robotic devices” — defined as mobile robots such as humanoids and quadrupeds — and connected power inverters made in foreign countries.
The post frames the move as a reminder for new physical-AI and robotics investors that supply-chain risk and inventory planning are now part of the game.
