Hugging Face pushes OAuth sign-in for apps that create repos and launch GPU jobs
huggingface · x · 2026-07-30
Hugging Face recommends adding a “Sign in with Hugging Face” OAuth button to websites and apps so users can share an email, create model or dataset repos, store data in Buckets, or launch GPU-backed Jobs.
The linked docs explain how the HF OAuth/OpenID Connect flow works, including public OAuth apps without a secret and the normal permissions prompt users see after clicking the sign-in button.
