Sakana AI and NYU released Dream-Cubed, a large-scale dataset for controllable generative modeling in Minecraft.
The work argues that just as language models benefit from tokens, Minecraft’s discrete cubes can serve as scalable primitives for transformers. The release includes a blog post, paper, and code, and the dataset contains tens of billions of carefully collected cubes.
