Shield AI and Thunder Tiger say they completed Hivemind’s first multi-asset autonomous maritime teaming demo in Taiwan, using two unmanned surface vessels in a coordinated ISR mission.
- The SeaShark 600 and SeaShark 800 ran with Hivemind onboard.
- The system planned waypoints, searched a designated area, identified a target vessel, and coordinated an escort out of the search zone.
- This is billed as Hivemind’s first multi-asset teaming demo on water, and its first maritime radar + AIS integration.
- The companies say the work is part of a broader push toward resilient autonomous maritime operations and future larger-team, open-ocean use cases.
