Bloomberg reports that Moonshot AI has closed a $3.5 billion funding round at a $35 billion valuation, after originally targeting $1–2 billion.
- The company reportedly overshot its fundraising goal by a wide margin, suggesting strong investor demand.
- Bloomberg also says Moonshot’s ARR rose to $300 million in June, up from $100 million in March, which it ties to the launch of Kimi K3.
- If accurate, Moonshot is one of the few Chinese AI labs with both model momentum and a real revenue story.
