A former Meta researcher says they left the company to build a frontier lab for the physical world.
The new lab will focus on interpretable foundation models and scientific simulation, and the founder says they are already assembling a founding team drawn from leading frontier AI and academic labs. They also describe Meta as the most formative two years of their career so far.
