OpenAI has open-sourced Codex Security CLI, a command-line tool that scans code repositories for vulnerabilities and can help fix them automatically.
The tool was previously known internally as Aardvark and, according to OpenAI, has already helped fix more than 3,000 critical security flaws. The release lands as AI companies race to build defensive tools that can keep pace with increasingly automated cyberattacks.
