DeltaIntelligence raises nearly RMB 500 million in an Angel++ round
DeltaIntelligence, a humanoid-robot foundation model startup founded in January 2026, says it has closed a nearly RMB 500 million Angel++ round. The round included multiple listed industrial investors and top financial VCs, and it is the company's sixth financing round within six months of launch.
What the company is building
- The startup is focused on humanoid foundation models (HFMs) for loco-manipulation: combining navigation, grasping, balance, and whole-body coordination.
- It is building a 3D world engine based on point clouds and 3D Gaussian splatting rather than relying only on 2D visual representations.
- The team is also developing a full-body panoramic data-capture system to record whole-body human motion and environment geometry.
- Training is split into a "brain + cerebellum + force/position hybrid control" stack: high-level planning from real interaction data, low-level control from simulation RL plus some real-robot calibration.
Team and deployment
- The three founders all hold UCLA PhDs and have backgrounds spanning robot learning, large-scale machine learning, systems, and embodied AI.
- The company says it has already worked with humanoid-robot makers such as Agibot, Leju, StarSea, and Unitree to validate cross-body adaptation.
The new funding will go to model iteration, mass production of in-house data-collection hardware, team expansion, and engineering validation in real industrial settings.
