Sakana AI opens AI cybersecurity PM roles for finance and defense

Sakana AI is hiring a project manager for its AI-powered cybersecurity business in two parallel tracks: finance and defense.
The role sits at the intersection of business development and delivery. The company says the PM will work with security engineers and AI researchers to identify hard customer problems, propose AI-based solutions, manage requirements and expectations, and drive projects end to end.
Key requirements include:
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, ideally in consulting, a security vendor, or an enterprise security team
- Strong knowledge of offensive and defensive security workflows
- Enterprise project management and documentation experience
- Working understanding of generative AI and data infrastructure
Nice-to-have experience includes finance-sector regulations and frameworks, upstream design and PoC work, and AI systems using agents, embeddings, or RAG.
