Dentist builds a clinic management app with Claude Code and ships it on weekends

A dentist says he used Claude Code to build DentVault, a detailed clinic and patient management app developed mostly on weekends over the course of a year. The software includes templated documentation, editable folder-tree structures, calendar views with per-patient statistics, dental charting and treatment planning, an IOTN chart, and a built-in cephalometric analyzer called Cephalyzer.
He also emphasizes that the app is not medically licensed. His goal is to motivate other specialized professionals to build profession-owned software with Claude Code, instead of relying on what he calls expensive, low-quality medical software.
