KRAFTON AI and SK Telecom have released A.X K2 Raon-Speech, a 21B-parameter SpeechLM trained from scratch.
The system handles speech understanding, speech generation, tool use, and emotion recognition. The post says it ranks No. 1 in Korean and No. 3 in English, and the accompanying technical report frames it as Korea’s first independently developed SpeechLM built with in-house speech encoder and codec components.
