AgentOS is presented as a production API and MCP server for agents. The project claims one backend can power multiple frontends, with REST APIs for running agents, streaming responses, sessions, memory, and knowledge management, plus a UI for chatting with agents, building new ones, inspecting traces, memory, and evals.
The screenshot shows a company-brain.py example: a chief agent connected to OpenAI GPT-5.6, backed by memory components for user profile, user memory, and shared entity memory. It also wires in Slack as an interface, enables tracing, and exposes an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can connect at /mcp.
