Elon Musk says Grok 4.6 is slated for around August 7 as a 1.5T-parameter model with improved SFT and RL.
A few weeks later, Grok 4.7 is expected to arrive as a 2.1T-parameter model that should be better in every way than 4.6, except that it will be slightly slower to serve despite improved token efficiency.
