OpenAI restores its 5-hour limit while probing GPT-5.6 Sol usage burn rate

OpenAI users are seeing the 5-hour limit come back: the temporary removal has been reversed, and the cap is now restored.
The post also says OpenAI is investigating reports that GPT-5.6 Sol consumes usage much faster than expected. During the investigation, the 5-hour limit will remain paused, so availability may continue to fluctuate.
