Retired product manager says Claude Code lets him run a one-person dev team
A retired product manager describes how he now uses Claude Code like a full software organization:
- writes PRDs disguised as prompts
- sends architecture work to his “architect” model
- builds backlogs for his Sonnet team
- reviews and refines the output like a manager
He says the setup gives him the same satisfaction as successful sprint demos, while removing the friction he used to dislike in office teamwork. He also uses the system to build personal software for fitness, food, finance, movies, and family reports.
