OpenAI has released Codex Security on GitHub, a CLI and TypeScript SDK designed to find, validate, and fix security vulnerabilities in code.
The tool allows developers to scan repositories, review changes, track findings over time, and integrate security checks directly into CI pipelines. It requires Node.js 22+, Python 3.10+, and access to Codex Security.
