FCC adds foreign-made humanoids and power inverters to its Covered List

The FCC added two new categories to its Covered List, blocking new imports or sales in the U.S. of foreign-made advanced robotic devices and power inverters.
- The agency says the devices pose “unacceptable risks” to U.S. national security.
- The move covers humanoids and quadrupeds, not just one robot form factor.
