Ex-Meta Lead Departs to Build Frontier AI Neolab for the Physical World

Sonia Joseph announced that she has left Meta to build a frontier neolab focused on the physical world. The lab's core research will center on interpretable foundation models and scientific simulation.
She noted that her two years at Meta were the most formative of her career, where she had the privilege of leading the company's intern program. She is currently assembling a world-class founding team of researchers and engineers from leading frontier AI and academic labs.
