Microsoft launches MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, an in-house cyber model for MDASH
Microsoft says its new MAI-Cyber-1-Flash cybersecurity model runs inside MDASH, the company’s multi-agent harness for detecting and remediating vulnerabilities across large codebases.
The company reports that the MAI-Cyber-1-Flash + GPT-5.4 configuration beats Mythos by 12 points on the CyberGym benchmark, and says the same configuration is available in MDASH at 50% lower cost than its previous best offering, which used GPT-5.4, 5.4 mini, and 5.3 codex.
