The full text of the "Pacing the Frontier" statement is now live.
It is signed by 1,122 employees of frontier AI companies and argues that automated AI development may be moving faster than society can understand or control. The statement asks the U.S. government to support an international effort to create the technical and governance tools needed to deliberately pace frontier progress.
