A Codex user shares two practical workflow tips: give Codex its own SSD so it can migrate itself there and stay isolated from the main OS, and create a version-independent startup link so it launches automatically after reboot. The post also recommends installing the Voidtools Everything CLI for fast file search. The attached screenshot shows a separate CODEXSSD (E:) drive alongside the main system disks.
