Addressing the long-standing credibility crisis in the humanities where claims often far exceed the supporting evidence, an author developed an AI tool named Inspector General.
The tool assesses on the fly the amount of evidence used to support claims of various scales within any article. It also evaluates how transparently the author discusses their evidence, methods, and limitations, helping readers instantly gauge the rigor of a text.
