Bull case says AMD profit could 10x as AI spend and inference demand scale
AccBalanced · x · 2026-07-29
A bullish thread argues that AMD profits could grow 10x over the next three years as committed AI spending from Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Oracle expands. The thesis says AMD has two profit engines: Instinct GPUs driving AI compute and EPYC Venice / Helios racks increasing server share and value per deployment.
The attached chart projects AMD operating profit rising from 401 in Dec. 2023 to 38,225 by Dec. 2028. The strongest upside case is said to be inference, where 31 TB of HBM4 per rack and agentic workloads pushing CPU-to-GPU ratios toward 1:1 could lift both Instinct and EPYC at once.
