Bittensor raises q from 0.61 to 0.75, easing its emission gate for mid-ranked subnets

Bittensor’s emission gate was adjusted again: q moved from 0.61 to 0.75, which lowers the emission threshold and makes the gate less aggressive for mid-ranked subnets.

The updated snapshot shows how that change reshapes the top 16 subnets’ share of network emissions. In the chart, the top performers gain more daily TAO, while lower-ranked subnets see smaller increases or slight declines. The table also shows the network’s top 16 collectively taking 85.653% of total emissions under the new setting.
