The recent widespread rumor about the release of "DeepSeek V4 stable" is actually misleading.
In reality, the DeepSeek V4 model was released months ago. The so-called "release" merely shut down two old API shortcuts to push developers onto the new endpoints. There were no substantial new updates to the model itself.
