@lxfater The author says this was just a copy test, but the underlying point is that different models parse PDFs with different algorithms.
On very long scanned PDFs, some models may fall back to vision-based processing. In that case, tokens are already consumed before any question is asked, so prompt caching does not apply. The post is essentially a wording test, not a deeper technical claim.
