Former MIT AI PhD Weijia Shi Joins Anthropic

AI researcher Weijia Shi announced she has relocated to San Francisco and officially joined Anthropic as a Member of Technical Staff.\n\nIn her new role, she will work across pretraining and societal impacts. During her PhD at MIT, her research spanned multiple core areas including data, pretraining, post-training, scaling laws, evaluation, and ecosystem safety.
