The thread says some authors who adopt AI don’t just keep publishing—they accelerate sharply:
- Among those who continued, 3 in 4 published faster than before.
- Some now ship dozens of books per year.
- A pseudonymous author reportedly made $1.7M from 8 titles in 12 months.
- The best-selling AI-heavy book in the sample earned $643K on more than 80,000 sales.
The bar charts also show that many of the highest-output AI-heavy books are concentrated in romance, mystery/thriller, sci-fi/adventure, and fantasy/horror.
