Mage-Flow runs 13–18× faster than Krea 2 Turbo on an RTX 3060, but quality trails
SirMick · reddit · 2026-07-28
A user compared Mage-Flow Turbo INT8 and Krea 2 Turbo FP8 on an RTX 3060 12GB in ComfyUI.
The result was a trade-off between speed and quality: Mage-Flow was roughly 13–18× faster, sometimes producing 1024×1024 images in just a few seconds, but Krea 2 produced noticeably cleaner faces, hands, materials, and environments. The tester says neither Mage-Flow’s BF16 mode nor the 20-step quality model improved enough to justify the extra runtime.
They ask what Mage-Flow is best for in practice: rapid concepting, product shots, stylized images, text-heavy images, or something else.
