Humanoid robot foundation-model startup DeltaIntelligence has raised nearly RMB 500 million in an angel-plus round, with backing from several listed strategic investors and top financial VCs. The company says the money will go toward model iteration, mass production of its own data-collection hardware, closed-loop data infrastructure, and team expansion.

Founded in January 2026, DeltaIntelligence focuses on humanoid robot foundation models (HFMs) for better environmental understanding, task planning, and whole-body coordination. Its team includes three UCLA PhDs and people who previously worked on robotics and ML at Google Robotics, NVIDIA Research, DeepMind, and Meta. The company says it is building a native 3D world engine, a self-developed data-collection system, and a “brain + cerebellum + force-position hybrid” architecture, and is already working with companies such as AgiBot, Leju Robotics, StarrySea, and Unitree.
