Baidu’s Apollo Go starts RT6 road tests in London, aiming for riders in 2027

- Baidu says Apollo Go and Freenow by Lyft have begun road testing the sixth-generation RT6 autonomous vehicles in Brent, London, on both urban and suburban roads.
- The test follows last year’s partnership with Lyft to bring Apollo Go vehicles to major European markets, and Baidu’s earlier right-hand-drive testing in Hong Kong.
- Baidu says the next step is to welcome public riders in 2027.
