SSI and Nvidia strike a long-term strategic partnership
Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) and Nvidia announced a long-term strategic partnership. As part of the deal, Nvidia will give SSI access to the next-generation Vera Rubin platform, with SSI saying the agreement should increase its compute capacity by 10x over the next year.
The companies did not disclose an investment amount, but multiple reports have repeatedly pointed to a figure of $5 billion. The post frames the deal as a major bet on Ilya Sutskever’s secretive AGI/ASI startup, which has raised huge sums despite not yet shipping a public model, paper, or demo.
