Only one of 63 API companies exposes all three agent-ready surfaces

I scanned 63 well-known API companies for three agent-facing surfaces: llms.txt, an /mcp endpoint, and auth.md self-signup. The author reports that 71% have llms.txt, 21% expose /mcp, and only 8% offer auth.md signup; Supabase is the only company found with all three.
The post also introduces an MIT-licensed tool, keymaker, that generates all three from an OpenAPI spec:
- MCP server support, including stdio and hosted Streamable HTTP with OAuth
- llms.txt
- auth.md
- an agent signup endpoint that issues scoped, metered, revocable keys
The author asks whether “temporary keys until claimed” should be the default pattern for agent signup.
