AT&T CTO says enterprise AI use has topped 1 trillion tokens a month

AT&T’s CTO said the company is now burning over a trillion tokens per month, with usage rising in double digits and AI already pervasive across the enterprise.
He said AT&T now has 100+ genAI models in production, covering customer care, fraud detection, tower placement, and workflow redesign in areas like HR and finance.
