Thinking Machines Lab co-founder Lilian Weng leaves after health-related burnout

Thinking Machines Lab co-founder Lilian Weng has resigned after taking a month off for health reasons, saying the workload and stress of startup life had become unsustainable.
The report adds that she joined OpenAI in 2018, later led a team of more than 80 people on safety systems, and co-founded Thinking Machines Lab with Mira Murati and others. The company recently shipped its first foundation model, Inkling, and the founding team has now shrunk from six members to four departures.
