Private Claude chats were discovered in Google search results after users shared them through Claude’s public sharing feature.
Anthropic confirmed the exposure and said the links were not meant to be discoverable unless users shared them themselves. Reported examples included personal data such as medical records and cryptocurrency wallet keys.
