Mix Studio turns ComfyUI into a phone-friendly app with curated workflows
blackmixture · reddit · 2026-07-28
The author released Mix Studio, a free and open-source ComfyUI frontend designed to make image and video generation feel more like using an app than managing workflows.
It supports desktop and phone use on the same Wi‑Fi, with the desktop GPU doing the heavy lifting. The interface includes curated workflows for Krea 2, Flux 2 Klein, Qwen Image Edit 2511, LTX 2.3, Wan 2.2, SCAIL 2, and more. It also adds practical features such as:
- inpainting, outpainting, regional prompting, image-to-image, and style references;
- LoRA stacking and comparisons;
- library management with full metadata restoration;
- PIN-protected profiles and locked folders;
- built-in dependency management and one-click setup;
- automatic ComfyUI integration and workflow metadata preservation.
The broader pitch is that Mix Studio removes a lot of the friction from ComfyUI while keeping the underlying workflows and models intact.
