GrokTerm is a Rust terminal application designed for Grok Build, featuring real PTY sessions, multi-tab support, two-way Grok Voice, and a manager control plane. Key features include:
- Multi-tab PTYs: Shell and Grok Build sessions side by side with readiness-aware delegation.
- Two-way Voice: Open tabs, delegate tasks, close tabs, and change settings via voice.
- Manager Control Plane: Type help or use voice to drive tools.
- Project Folders: Named workspaces under /Projects/<slug>.
- Session Restore: Tabs reopen on launch; Grok tabs resume via grok --resume.
- Auto-update: Checks GitHub Releases at startup.
- Layout & Themes: Tab bar on any edge, themes, rename tabs, text selection.
- Mouse Support: Chrome clicks always work; SGR mouse events pass through on demand.
- Echo Protect: Mic gated while GrokTerm speaks, with local barge-in.
Shortcuts: Ctrl+T new shell, Ctrl+B new Grok tab, Ctrl+V voice, Ctrl+G manager, Ctrl+Q quit.
Requires macOS 13+ (app and voice); CLI also builds and runs on Linux.
