Salesforce joins the Open Secure AI Alliance while pushing open-source AI

Salesforce says true AI progress needs both open collaboration and rigorous safety standards, and it is joining the Open Secure AI Alliance.
The post frames the move as part of Salesforce Research’s long-running open-source work, citing models and projects such as CodeGen, XGen, BLIP, Moirai, xLAM and Merlion that have been released on Hugging Face for broad use.
