This post simply points to neuromorphic computing and replies to a thread about SSI possibly pursuing that direction.
The attached image explains the concept: a computer architecture inspired by the human brain, using spiking neural networks, event-driven processing, and combined memory and compute to save energy and behave more like living systems.
